Chromacam with Skype for Business

Skype for business crashes every time I select the ChromaCam as the camera for skype to use

Hi there Ken, thanks for the note, but sorry for the troubles. Skype for Business is very tricky in terms of working with Virtual Camera Drivers. There are quite a few different builds, with the ones that are based on Lync architecture being very tempermental.

What version of Skype for Business are you running?

I'm seeing the same issue. Uninstalled ChromaCam for now as it's not usable with Skype for Business version 16.0.8431.2110

I don’t think that version is compatible. Can you try this with Skype Classic or Google Hangouts to verify that this is not down to your system, but is a an issue with that version of S4B?

Chromacam does not start with Skype for Business.

With regular Skype it shows the menu and I get one the the background, but then Chromacam crashes

It could be possible that you are running multiple programs. Can you reboot you PC and then try CC with Skype Classic right after restart?
